What happens to the soul after death?

What happens to the soul after death? Where does it go?

Do you have any views on this question? It will be interesting to hear other peoples beliefs on this topic because of different experiences and religions, etc.

I believe that the soul continuously reincarnates in one realm (e.g. Earth) until it has fulfilled it's lifes purpose. The soul will then be one more stage towards enlightenment and it can then move on to the next world or realm to do the same there. There is always more to learn, so the cycle never stops as new things are always being created that need to be learnt. This is also why we have old souls and not 'just' new ones
